Aiden Horwood - Director
With more than 25 years of experience at the highest levels of the hair industry, Aiden brings world class expertise, creativity, and precision to every client who sits in his chair.
Originally from Bondi Beach and now based in Melbourne, Aiden has built an exceptional career that spans international fashion runways, editorial publications, education, and salon leadership. His talent has earned both national and international recognition, including multiple industry awards, five international magazine covers, and three nominations for Men's Hairdresser of the Year.
Having worked on over 100 fashion shows worldwide. including New York Fashion Week Aiden has perfected the ability to create hair that is both fashion forward and effortlessly wearable. He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry and represented globally recognised professional brands, giving him a depth of experience few stylists can match.
What truly sets Aiden apart is his commitment to understanding each client's individual style, lifestyle, and goals. Drawing on decades of advanced training and experience, he combines technical precision with artistic vision to create cuts, colours, and styles that not only look incredible in the salon but remain easy to manage and maintain at home. Today, Aiden's focus is where his passion began working directly with clients and delivering exceptional results. Fotini Simitzis - Director
Having worked in high-end salons in Melbourne for over 20 years, Fotini is a colouring master.
On exploring for new opportunities without limitation, Fotini partnered with Aiden to create Your Hair Republic.
As the Creative Director, Fotini has a passion for everything colour and creating beautiful tones for her clients. Her inspiration comes from her love of hair and fashion, and shines through in the consistently high quality work she produces.
Fotini has been mentored by the best and will custom design a formula that will compliment your natural colour, or create an entirely new look for you.
Fotini has previously showcased her talent in various competitions and successfully won awards with her vast knowledge of colour.
As the salon colour educator Fotini enjoys nurturing the next generation and seeing them grow and evolve.
As styles are continually evolving so is Fotini, with the latest techniques and technology to give our guests the best possible outcome.
She provides an all round outstanding service to her clients, and will guide you on how best to maintain and care for your colour between appointments.
Eilish - Apprentice
Eilish is our newest apprentice, passionate about hair and beauty. She’s excited to learn, grow her skills, and be part of our growing salon team while developing her journey in the hairdressing industry.
